Lord Drake Kustoms has once again pushed the limits, this time with the BMW R NineT Hypermotard. This project is likely one of the first NineTs transformed into a Hypermotard. This masterpiece fuses German engineering with the wild attitude of a motard and LDK’s unique style.
A Bold NineT
This model is unique and highly valued for customizations: cafe racers, scramblers, or brats. However, few have dared to take it into the Hypermotard territory. At LDK, Fran Manen and his team decided to take on the challenge, drawing inspiration from Italian Hypermotards (light, agile, and fun).
We wanted to show that the BMW R NineT could also be transformed into a Hypermotard without losing its original essence. The result has been spectacular, and we believe it will set a trend.

Handcrafted work
Lord Drake Kustoms’ customization of this NineT Hypermotard combines design, technique, and high-end components.
- Redesigned subframe and handcrafted fabrication of the rear tail, front mask, and front fender.
- Suspension tuned with Öhlins.
- Handguards, belly pan, and air intake made of carbon fiber.
- Radiator grille, aluminum side number plates with the “9T” number, and machined ergonomic levers.
- Modified Supertrapp exhaust for a more aggressive sound.
- Alcantara seat with orange stitching and 3-in-1 illuminated license plate mount.
- Pirelli Supercorsa tires and standard Brembo brakes.
Far from being just for show, this bike combines style and functionality, and is ready to ride hard both off-road and in the city.
Daring design
The paint and finishes reinforce its bold character: glossy black, orange, and pearl white, combined with carbon fiber and Alcantara, make every angle of the bike stand out. It’s a perfect example of how LDK manages to blend form and function without compromising either.
Guaranteed performance
The 1170 cc boxer engine delivers 110 hp and 86 lb-ft of torque, while the adapted geometry and suspension ensure precise and fun handling. The ergonomics have been redesigned to provide “extreme enjoyment on both mountain roads and urban rides,” honoring the motard spirit.
