It is the color of elegance and good taste. As we all know, black signifies respect and simplicity. This is a clear example of how, at Lord Drake Kustoms, with very few changes, they are capable of turning an old Triumph Bonneville Brat, destined for oblivion, into a motorcycle that exceeds all expectations.

“This time it was more a case of restoration than customization, since the bike was from 2002 and had only ridden about 6,000 km, all of them in the first year. The rest of the time, almost 13 years, it was abandoned and in terrible condition, to the point that when it arrived at LDK they wanted to send it to the scrapyard,” Lord Drake Kustoms told us.

So, according to the owner, he decided to completely disassemble it, restore everything that was necessary, and reassemble it, giving it a personal touch to enhance its aesthetics. He wasn’t aiming for an extreme modification, just to achieve an elegant, understated bike with a slightly more aggressive look.
All the parts were stripped and treated: frame, engine, tires—absolutely everything—and then everything was painted, even the smallest screw, in black with some gold accents.
Perhaps the most striking features of this bike are the rear tire swap to an 18” wheel, the fully handcrafted black leather seat with gold stitching, and the embedded rear light. These small details add to the play created by the combination of pearl black, textured black powder coating, and gold accents, resulting in a Triumph Bonneville that feels renewed, elegant, and aggressive…
And the truth is, black will always be black.
